Your Tasks
  • Support the creation and optimization of UX copy across web and mobile products
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, and product managers to develop user-centered content solutions
  • Help maintain and evolve our content guidelines, tone of voice, and terminology
  • Review and improve existing content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility
  • Assist in content audits and contribute to UX research initiatives
  • Work primarily on German UX copy while ensuring high-quality English content and supporting localization processes
  • Learn how to use user feedback, research insights, and data to inform content decisions 
Your Skills
  • Currently enrolled as a student (e.g. Communication, Linguistics, UX, Digital Media, or similar)
  • Strong writing and editing skills in German (C1/C2 level) and English (C1/C2 level), with a focus on UX or product-related content
  • Interest in UX writing, content design, and digital products; experience with content management tools is a plus
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, user-friendly language
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style
  • Ability to discuss, explain, and align your decisions with stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of UX principles is a plus

About the job

You will support our Product & UX team at kununu as a Working Student UX Writer and Content Designer, helping shape clear, user-centered content that improves how people experience the world of work. Your work contributes to making employer insights and our products more accessible, transparent, and actionable for millions of users. 


You collaborate closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers to improve the user experience through concise, consistent, and meaningful language. In this role, you contribute to microcopy, user flows, and content guidelines. You will work across multiple teams with impact on both B2C and B2B products while gaining hands-on experience in real product decisions and learning how content design shapes digital experiences. 

The gross annual salary for 20 hours/week is: EUR 16,856 gross per year (EUR 1,204 gross per month)
